dear diary. well i'm getting fat. eating more, not excercising, basically being in hibernation, will do that to you. but it's back to the gym on 1/5/09. the last time i went to the gym was definitely over a month ago, maybe 2. i think i overdid it. i felt "off balance" all afternoon. so i'm going to ease into it. i should do some perfect pushups right now. but i won't.
i got very slight side effects from my 3rd shot. some chills, but it is like 2 degrees here. the shot was given at the 3:00 position in my right thigh. my first 2 shots were given at the 12:00 position in my right thigh and left thigh, respectively. my flare ups have been few and far between. and they last only a second or 2.
i got my script filled today. another drama filled morning/afternoon dealing with the pharmacy/doctor's office/insurance companies.

here is some interesting news, Matt. I talked to Babe yesterday. she is the mother of Janet, our friend who also has ms. her md told her that she may be able to stop the avenox after he sees her next mri. she has taken the injections weekly for five years. her repeat mris have consistently shown improvement ... as well as as decrease in her symptoms.
