my crappy gym

so i found out last week that the crappy gym that i go to at the Sheraton is DOUBLING their rate. this piece of crap has 3 elliptical machines, 2 of which need WD40, the other's screen is broken, 3 treadmills, weights that go up to 25 lbs, moldy showers, no soap. it's such bullcrap. it is totally not worth what they're asking for. real gyms don't even cost this much. the gym on highland ave has a 6 mos deal that's reasonable that i might do and that's a real gym. it is very convenient that i can go to the gym during lunch but i just can't justify paying that much. seriously, we have to go to the front desk weekly to have them clean the showers, get us towels, refill the soap, sanitize the steam room, service the equipment. it is absolutely ridiculous. i'm nervous that i won't force (that's a strong word) myself to go to the gym after work like i do during lunch. i have to do something though. i'll just have to leave right when i get home from work. that was an example of no internal monologue.

oh and they're going to charge $3 for a gym fee to each room. that's a good way to boost the economy and promote health. double the gym fee for an already establishing clientele and screw your guests. stupid jerks.
